See the Difference Before You Decide
Try Our Window Tint Simulator
Our simulator lets you preview five common shades before you book: 5%, 15%, 25%, 50%, and 70%. That percentage refers to visible light transmission, or how much light passes through the tint. A lower number means a darker, more private tint, such as 5%, while a higher number like 70% is much lighter and barely changes the look of your glass, focused more on heat and UV performance than a dramatic visual change. Use the simulator to see how each option looks on your vehicle before deciding.

CARBON $250
CERAMIC $350
Full windshield tinting delivers the most comprehensive cabin coverage and a noticeable difference in heat buildup and driver comfort. Because the windshield is the largest single piece of glass on most vehicles, tinting it has an outsized effect on how quickly the cabin heats up in direct sun. Drivers often add this alongside side and rear tint for full coverage across every window.

Tint the Right Way
Window Tint Laws in texas
Texas requires front side windows to allow more than 25% visible light transmission (VLT). Rear side windows and the rear window may have any darkness as long as the vehicle has outside mirrors on both sides. The windshield may only have a non-reflective tint strip above the AS-1 line (or the top 5 inches if there is no AS-1 line). Front side windows and the windshield tint strip must have 25% or less reflectivity, and red, blue, and amber tint colors are not permitted. Our team will help you choose a tint that keeps your vehicle stylish, comfortable, and compliant with Texas law.
The Technology Behind the Tint
Why Tint Type Makes a Difference
Not all window tint is built the same, and the type you choose changes both the look and the performance you get. Here is how our two options compare.
Carbon Window Tint
Carbon tint gives you a clean, dark appearance with dependable heat rejection at an accessible price point. It resists fading better than older dye-based tints and does not carry the slight purple or blue cast that cheaper tints can develop over time, making it a solid, no-frills option for drivers who want real performance without paying for the most advanced technology available.
Ceramic Window Tint
Ceramic tint uses more advanced nano-ceramic particles to block infrared heat significantly more effectively than carbon, all while remaining completely non-conductive, so it will not interfere with radio, GPS, or other in-vehicle electronics. It also holds its color and clarity longer, which makes it the stronger long-term investment for drivers who plan to keep their vehicle for years.
Both options are installed with the same careful, bubble-free process, so the decision really comes down to how much performance you want and what you are comfortable spending. Our team is happy to walk you through the difference in person before you decide.
Texas sets legal limits on how dark your tint can be. See the Texas Department of Public Safety's window tint guidance for the current rules, or ask our team for help choosing a compliant option.
Enhanced Protection
What Window Tint Actually Does for Your Cabin
Blocks Harmful UV Rays
Strong UV blocking shields you from rays that damage skin and fade or crack interior surfaces over time.
Reduces Heat Buildup
Carbon rejects up to 93% of infrared heat, ceramic up to 95%, keeping the cabin cooler and easing the air conditioning load.
Improves Safety and Comfort
Reduces glare from the sun and headlights while adding privacy without sacrificing your own outward view.
Tint Questions, Answered
Frequently Asked Questions
What actually separates carbon from ceramic tint?
The carbon option delivers a clean, dark look with solid heat rejection at a lower price point, while the ceramic option steps that up significantly with more advanced infrared rejection and better long-term clarity, which is why it sits at the top of our lineup.
Will tinted windows make it harder to see at night?
Our tints are chosen for high optical clarity, so most drivers notice little to no change in nighttime visibility.
Does window tint mess with GPS or radio reception?
Both carbon and ceramic are built to stay compatible with GPS, radio, and other electronics in your vehicle.
How should I care for my windows after tint goes on?
Skip ammonia-based cleaners, and give the tint a few days to fully cure before rolling the windows down.
